Pride in Surrey is approaching fast - here are some details for those looking to travel to our event this year!
This year, Pride in Surrey takes place in Guildford town on 21st September 2024.
We will parade up Guildford High Street, assembling along Friary Street from 10am for a prompt 11am departure. Our park event will take place in Stoke Park (GU1 1ER), beginning at 12pm, following the arrival of the Parade into the event site.
We encourage all those coming to Pride in Surrey to plan their journeys in advance, to ensure they have a stress-free Pride day!
Planned engineering work is taking place in the Guildford area on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September, closing the railway from Woking to Haslemere and from Clandon to Guildford. Rail replacement buses will be in operation all weekend.
Event-goers traveling to Pride in Surrey should also note that London Road (Guildford) will be closed from 9am until 2pm on Saturday 21st September as, due to road closures, buses cannot serve the station.
Don't worry - There are a number of alternative transportation options available for those wanting to attending this year's event!
There are a number of accessible parking options around Guildford town that will be available on event day.
Pride in Surrey have secured a number of parking spaces, available to be pre-booked via Outsavvy alongside our event tickets. These spaces cost £5.50 per parking space for the whole day, and are available from 10am-10pm. These spaces are located at:
1) Spectrum Park and Ride Car Park, Spectrum Leisure Centre, Parkway, Guildford GU1 1UP
2) Guildford College Student Car Park, Guildford College, GU1 1EZ
