On Saturday 21st September join us for Surrey's annual Pride Park event at Stoke Park in Guildford
Not forgetting our expected Pride march through the historic town of Guildford.
Pride in Surrey 2024 - Stoke Park, Guildford
This year’s Parade begins at the bottom of Guildford High Street, assembling from 10am along Friary Street. The Parade aims to bring Guildford together to celebrate Surrey’s LGBTQ+ community. Featuring the fabulous Drag Bus and a live drumming band, alongside queer icons from Surrey and beyond – the Parade will the High Street to life with music and joy.
The Parade departs at 11am, making its way up Guildford High Street. Following onto London Road, the Parade continues until it reaches Stoke Park.
All parade participants must arrive wearing their Parade wristbands. These are available via Pride in Surrey’s website for both organisations and individuals. Wristbands also grant access to the Stoke Park event.
Pride in Surrey encourages the people of Guildford to come and celebrate the parade as it makes its way towards Stoke Park.
During the morning of the event, there will be temporary road closures in place on the Parade route. These will impact the bottom of the High Street (near Friary Street), the top of the High Street (from the North Street junction to London Road) and London Road (from High Street to Stoke Park entrance).
The road closures will begin prior to the Parade’s departure and will be cleared following the Parade reaching Stoke Park.
The Stoke Park event will open at approximately 12pm, following the arrival of the Parade into the event. Tickets will be required for entry into the park event.
To make Pride accessible to everyone, tickets are available on a ‘pay what you can basis’, with minimum donations starting at just £1. Tickets are available via OutSavvy.
