After the success of Surrey’s 1st Pride in August it was evident that the team at ‘Pride in Surrey’ wanted to keep up the momentum of celebrating, educating and connecting the LGBTQ+ community and allies.
Given the opportunity by The Electric Theatre to host an event on World AIDS day is so special and will allow Pride in Surrey to again be in the forefront of the communities minds ensuring they know there’s relevant support and advice out there whilst also connecting like minded individuals.
Sponsored by Surrey County Council the Pride in Surrey Winter Pride event will welcome local talent from the likes of ACM whilst also welcome some amazing recognisable talent.
The event will be within the grounds of The Electric Theatre, Guildford and feature food & drink, a marquee with stalls and free entertainment in the all day party ‘Divas tent’ from Annie K drag magic, Emily Baum comedy genius, Lauren & Hardy Jazz duo, Wilma Balls Drop, Amber J from The Voice, Jack Mason from The Xfactor, Comedy Trollop JennyBSide, Nicolette Street, DJ Caffers and an incredible Elton John tribute artist.

Q: Why do I have to pay for the theatre shows?
A: We must always be able to cover operational costs and as a non-profit organisation we are raising money towards the main Pride event in 2020. We also aim to make a donation to a charity (charity tbc)

A: The theatre shows welcome local and recognisable talent to perform in a setting that is accepting of everyone. It’s your chance to enjoy a show or 3 of variety…. They all have different performers and will be fantastic! You may recognise some of the names (winks).
