Parade joining requests have now closed. Don’t worry, you can still watch and tag along at the end.

What can I do after the Parade?

You can either stay in Woking Town and pop along to venues such as the Slug & Lettuce who are at the end of the parade or head down to Woking Park.

How far is Woking Park from Woking Town?

Woking Park is only a 5 minute walk from the Parade finish in the town centre.

Is Pride free to enter?

Yes. But please donate what you can on the day. There are no longer any free tickets available.

Can I enter if I don’t have a Free ticket?

Not straight away – If capacity isn’t reached by 4pm those without tickets will be permitted to enter and a 1 in 1 out policy will be in operation when capacity is reached.

If Pride is free, why do I need a ticket?

Visitors were asked to register for a FREE ticket so that we can manage the comfort and safety of everyone.

Note: The capacity of Pride in Surrey has now been reached and therefor no further free tickets are available.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No, just the number/name or ticket on your phone is fine.

I have accessibility requirements, what is there for me?

Accessible toilets, one changing places facility with hoists and privacy screens and BSL sign interpreters on the main stage. We also have a viewing platform along with ‘FastTrack’ entrance. For more information on accessibility, click here.

Can I bring my child along to Pride?

Of course! We welcome everyone to Pride In Surrey. It is a family friendly event.

Can I bring my dog along to Pride?

We welcome well behaved dogs, on leads. Dogs will not be permitted in areas where food/drink are sold. Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog does not foul within the Pride event zone.

I’m not LGBTQ+… can I come to Pride?

Of course! We welcome everyone to Pride In Surrey.

Can I bring my own food into Pride?

No, due to security and health & safety reasons. Any special dietary requirements should be discussed with our accessibility team – before Pride.

Can I bring my own drink into Pride?

You are allowed to bring one sealed/unopened bottle of water (500ml)

Will there be water points refill my bottle?

Yes, free of charge water refills be operate.

Will there be security checks on the entrance?

Yes, to ensure the safety of everyone. Bag searches will be carried out by a trained SIA team.

Can I bring my own gazebos/parasols to Pride?

No. We do not permit any temporary structures to be erected in the main Pride event zone.

What time does Pride close?

The stage and bar both close at 9.30pm.

Will there be food and drink to buy?

Yes. We have a large selection of food and drink vendors. Something for everyone… from ice cream to burgers to vegan food and much more.

Do I need to bring ID?

As licence holders we will be operating a Challenge 25 policy. If you look under 25, you will be asked to prove that you are over 18 in order to buy alcohol on site.
Traders reserve the right to refuse sale of alcohol.

What is there for young people?

We have our very own Youth Pride Zone with activities running until 5pm.

Will there be Pride merchandise to buy?

Yes, there will be merchandise stalls.

Will there be toilets at Pride?

Yes. We will have many toilets including accessible toilets.

Is there a cash machine at Pride?

No, but many of our traders accept card payments on their stalls.

Will there be medical support on site for emergencies?

Yes, trained medical staff will be on site during the event.

Is there WiFi?

Yes, Woking Park WiFi is FREE to use, but limited.

What should I bring to Pride

We suggest you bring items such as a sun hat to keep cool. Your ID if you look under 25 and wish to purchase from our bar. One sealed/unopened bottle of water (500ml).

What about my outfit?

We’re sure your outfit is going to be fabulous, but please remember it has to be safe and it is a family friendly event. Swimwear coverage as a minimum is advised.

Will there be a programme guide for Pride?

Yes, there will be a printed guide available FREE on the day.
